Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Sprite Tracker (spritetracker.app) is a free, unofficial fan-made tool for tracking your Fortnite sprite collection. This page explains what data is handled and by whom. It is written to be accurate rather than exhaustive — if something here is unclear, please ask.

Your collection stays in your browser

By default, everything you track — which sprites and variants you have collected, mastered or lost — is stored only in your own browser using localStorage. It is not sent anywhere, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data will erase it.

We also store your chosen language and whether you have dismissed the TikTok banner, for the same reason and in the same place.

Optional account and cloud sync

If you choose to sign in, you can sync your collection across devices. Signing in uses your fnvault account ("Continue with fnvault"); older sign-ins made with a "magic link" sent to your email address still work. In either case we store:

  • your email address and an account identifier;
  • your collection data (which sprites/variants are collected, mastered or lost, and when).

This is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Sign-in emails are delivered by Resend. You can stop using the account at any time; to have your account and synced data deleted, contact us and we will remove it.

Emails

If you have an account, we may send you an occasional email when new sprites are added to Sprite Tracker. These emails come from Sprite Tracker ([email protected]). They are sent by fnvault, which also provides Sprite Tracker sign-in, using the email address on your account, and they are delivered by Resend.

Every announcement email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and permanently. If you unsubscribe, or an email to you bounces, we keep a record of your address only so that we never email it again.

We never sell or share your email address.

Advertising

This site carries no ad network. We removed Google AdSense in October 2026, so no advertising cookies are set and no advertising company receives your data from this site.

We do show a small referral link at the top of the page, marked "Ad". It is a plain link: no tracking pixel, no script, and nothing about you is shared with the advertiser unless you click it and sign up with them yourself.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted installation of Umami to count page views and basic interactions (for example, how many people use the share button). It is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifying information.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It uses cookies and is governed by Google's own privacy policy ↗. It never receives your email address or account identifier.

The "report a missing sprite" form

If you submit the report form, we store what you typed (sprite name, variant, any details) and your interface language so we can act on it. It is not used for anything else.

Hosting and delivery

The site runs on a private server and is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to serve pages and protect against abuse.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

  • You can use the entire tracker without signing in — nothing leaves your browser.
  • You can clear your local data at any time through your browser settings.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser; ads may then be less relevant.
  • You can request deletion of a synced account and its data by contacting us.
